James Gray Vogelsang, 70, of Manistee, Michigan passed away June 17, 2026.

 He was born December 31, 1955, in Grand Rapids Michigan to Roger Gray Vogelsang and Doris Ilene Church (Jerome). He attended Brethren High School in Brethren Michigan, graduating in 1974. He went on to attend West Shore Community College where he obtained his Electrician License. He worked at Drop Forge, Hardy Salt and Little River Casino before his retirement. Jim had an ingenious mind and was a master at fixing and creating things; he loved farming and his family and friends.

 He is survived by 2 Sons, Ezekiel Green and Benjamin Green, Special friend, Holly Green, Mother, Doris Church, Sister, Tammy (Marlen) Hollenbeck and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Roger Gray Vogelsang and Stepfather Guy Richard Church.

 Graveside services were held at the Brethren Cemetery in Brethren, Michigan on July 25, 2026.
