James Oliver Sparks, Age 67 of Manistee died August 5, 2020 at his home of COPD in the care of his longtime companion Marva Monk and Hospice of Michigan.

He was born on December 21, 1952 in Urbana, Ohio the son of the late Oliver & Ruby Garlene (Royce) Sparks
.
In addition to Marva he is survived by brothers; Donald & Rick Sparks, and his children; Jimmy, Billy, Sirena, Lisa, Alisha, Jesse, Jeremiah, and Kanyon
.
He was preceded in death by a brother; Terry Sparks

Memorial Service for James will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday September 12, 2020 at the Pentecostal Assembly of Free Soil with Pastor Ray Haner officiating.

Memorials in James's name may be directed to the Oak Grove Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
