Jackie Hopkins, age 93, of Bear Lake passed away on December 7, 2023, at home with her loving daughters by her side.

Happily married to Bud Hopkins for 67 years, who preceded her in death in 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, GG, aunt and friend. Jackie was very giving of herself and a second mom to many. She always had an open-door policy for family, friends or others in need and was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children Sandee (Bernie) Ware, Vickee Hopkins (Jeff Cockerham), Barb (Brian) Schandevel, grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Funeral Service will be held at Bear Lake Community Church, 7861 Main Street, Bear Lake, MI 49614, on Monday December 11, 2023, at noon, officiated by Bernie Ware with celebration luncheon to follow. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of service.
