Hope Hogan, age 88, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 8,2025.
The daughter of Tom and Ellen (Farley) Ramsdell, she attended Manistee High School (1955 graduate) and received her Bachelors from Michigan State University. Hope married John Hogan in 1960, and they had 65 beautiful years together.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and numerous social clubs. Hope was an avid reader, traveled the world windsurfing, was passionate about helping others, and dedicated to loving and caring for her family and friends.
She is survived by John Hogan of Manistee; three children: Pat (Robin) Hogan of Manistee, Heather (Todd) Jones of Mt. Pleasant, and Ellen (Rich) LaTulip of Traverse City; four grandchildren: Mikayla (Cole) Reihl of Clare, Eden (Mychel) LaTullp of Austin,Texas, Phoebe LaTulip of Marquette, and Beau LaTulip of Grand Rapids; one great grandchild: Cormic Reihl of Clare; brother Lewis Ramsdell, cousins Dave and Jim Farley, brothers-in-law Dan and Terry Hogan, plus numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Ellen Ramsdell.
A small family service was held at her beloved Holy Trinity to honor Hope's memory. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Michigan or Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
