Frederic Leonard Sundbeck, age 62, of Manistee, Michigan passed away suddenly on December 9, 2021. Fred was born on June 16, 1959, to his late parents, Fred and Myra (Johnson) Sundbeck.

Fred was known for his patience, appreciation of nature, and always taking the scenic route. He spent his career as a Registered Nurse serving with great compassion. He was passionate about Manistee and its community, spending years being involved with the Ramsdell Theatre, Free Spirit Choir, and bringing laughter, song, and cider everywhere he went.

Fred is survived by his daughter, Alora Sundbeck (18), who carries his love for preserving the natural environment. He is also survived by his siblings Carl (and friend Anna) Sundbeck, John (Pat) Sundbeck, Karen (Harry) Kolk, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Julie Dible and his parents, Fred and Myra Sundbeck.

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday December 18, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Oak Grove Funeral Home, 309 W Parkdale Ave, Manistee, MI 49660.
