Edward J. Maher, Sr., age 66 of Manistee, Michigan died Wednesday morning September 23, 2026 at his home.

He was born on December 28, 1959 in New York City, New York the son of the Late Patrick Maher and Ann (McArdle) Maher. Ed spent his early years in the Bronx, and at age 11 moved to Roxbury Township , New Jersey where he attended public schools. He married Barbara Bray on September 24, 2005 in Roxbury Township. They moved to Manistee in 2024.

Survivors include his wife; Barbara, a step-daughter; Shirley, and a granddaughter; Audrey.
