Earl W. Priskorn, age 94, of Wellston, MI, passed away on December 31, 2021, at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.
Earl was born on October 25, 1927, in Ecorse Township, Michigan, the son of the late William and Amelia (Schafer) Priskorn. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in June of 1945. On September 4, 1948, Earl married Joan R. Voigt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wyandotte, Michigan. They shared 57 years together before Joan's passing on December 13, 2002.
Earl was a Logistics Management Officer for the US Army Tank Automotive Command for 22 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Manistee, Michigan.
Earl enjoyed spending his time hunting, gardening, and wood working. He loved German Shepherds, especially his "Peanut".
He will be missed by his children Mark (Jean) Priskorn of Traverse City, MI, Craig (Sandra) Priskorn of Canton, MI, and Brian (David) Priskorn of Wellston, MI; grandchildren Matthew, Aaron, Jennifer, Michael, Kristin, David, and Adam; four great-grandchildren; and his special friend Mary Della Pia.
Besides for his parents and his wife, Joan, Earl is preceded in death by his brothers Harold and Clarence Priskorn.
A memorial service for Earl will be held on Saturday January 22, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manistee at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dennis Rahn officiating. Family and friends may visit from noon until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Manistee.
