Durwood "Woodie" Allen Smith
Durwood "Woodie" Allen Smith, age 86, of Bitely passed away on Thursday September 24, 2020 at home with his family by his side. He was born on March 9, 1934 in Grand Rapids, MI, son of the late Charles W.T. and Katherine (Haas) Smith.
Woodie is survived by his wife of 66 years, Theresa Smith of Bitely; 2 sons, Edward (Jean) Smith of Nunica and Michael Smith of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and son David Smith.
No service or visitation will be held at this time. The family has entrusted funeral arrangements with Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Manistee.
