Duane Donald Young, age 74, of Manistee, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026 at his home, from Lung Cancer.

He was born on August 28, 1952 in Manistee, the son of the late Donald and Mayme (Hahn)

Young. He married Linda Holstad on September 11, 1976 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He worked at Hardy Salt company for 22 years, and Action Pest Control for 18 years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his brother, Allan and Char Young; nephews, Nathan Young (God Son) and Brent and Melanie Young, and great nephew, Josh all of Manistee. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Nancy Holstad, Manistee; brother-in-law, Jim and Roxann Holstad; nieces Andrea, Christy, and Jenny; and great nephews, Joshua and Jeremiah, all from Indianapolis.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time."
