Dodo Wilder, 92, of Irons, Michigan, went to be with her husband Tom, Wednesday, December 31,
2025.

Dodo was a teacher's aide at Palmer Elementary, in Grand Rapids. She became a huge influence to the
children she worked with, always showing them kindness, care, and encouragement.

Dodo's hands were rarely still, she was either crocheting personalized blankets or Afghans, or using her
perfected cursive penmanship to write letters to so many. One thing about Dodo is she always loved her
piece of paradise.

Dodo is survived by: her daughters, Patti (Bill) Shearer and Rita (Craig) Wood; several grandchildren;
great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Dodo was preceded in death by: her husband, Tom; daughter, Cathy Wilder; and Son, Thomas (Buddy)
Wilder.
