Doris Plucinski, age 70, of Manistee passed away on Monday November 10, 2025, at her home.

She was born on June 28, 1955, in Manistee, the daughter of the late Richard and Gloria (Kamaloski) Brown. She obtained her GED and graduated with honors from West Shore Community College in food service.

Doris married Frank Plucinski on March 19, 1976, at the courthouse in Manistee. They were married for 17 years. Doris worked as a pantry cook and EVS cleaner at Little River Casino for 10 years until she retired in 2021.

She enjoyed shopping, cooking, looking for things and playing games on her tablet, coloring, watching movies, feeding the squirrels and spending time with the family pets that she loved, Isabelle and Lily.

Doris is survived by her two daughters, Gloria and Traci Plucinski; sister, Diane Brown; and grandson, Liam Plucinski-Kendrick all of Manistee.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brown, Keith Brown.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family graveside service will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee.
