Doris Beard's Obituary
Doris Louise Beard, age 94 of Manistee died Sunday afternoon February 9, 2024 at Nancy's House.
She was born on April 15, 1930 in Keene, New Hampshire the daughter of the late Amos & Mary (Brigadier) Hatt. She married Leonard Beard on September 4, 1949 in Westmoreland, NH. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2004.
Doris worked alongside her husband in his Kaleva, MI Dental Practice. She enjoyed cross country skiing, camping in the UP, beach walking, & snowmobiling. She was a life long member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Onekama.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law; Cynthia E. Beard of Manistee and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son Terry Beard on September 27, 2017.
