Diana Sue (Lardie) Lemson, of Manistee Michigan, age 79, passed away November 7, 2021 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.
She married Arthur Dale Lemson on August 17, 1962, in Grand Rapids Michigan.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Diana was a devout Christian who modeled her life after Christ her Lord. Her unconditional love could be felt whether you knew her for five minutes or fifty years. She always looked for the best in everyone. Generous with her time, you could always count on Diana to be there when anyone needed her help; family, friends and strangers. She loved entertaining old and new friends, there was always a seat at her table. Her love of Lake Michigan often brought her to the beach, were she enjoyed sitting on a bench just watching the water or having a picnic. Diana looked forward to camping at the Soo Locks every fall, while her husband fished, she sat and watched the big boats going by, reading and relaxing.
Diana is loved beyond measure and will be missed in a million different ways. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is with her father in heaven, free of her pain.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Lardie and Jeanne Lardie (Pierce).
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving husband, Arthur Lemson, her children, Deb and Ken Maxon, Mike and Tami Lemson and Shelly Lemson. Her grandchildren, Nikki, Kaleigh, Raven, Hunter, Cheyenne, and Autumn and 9 great-grandchildren, her sisters Joyce and Jackie and brother Frank.
A celebration of life will be planned for Spring 2022. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
