Diana Dee (Leach) Coleman, age 83 of Fountain, Michigan died Sunday, February 9, 2025, at her home with her husband by her side.

She was born on April 19, 1941, in Scottville, Michigan, the daughter of the late James Edward & Dorothy Maxine (Nielsen) Leach. She attended Maple Grove Elementary School, Muskegon High School, Muskegon Community College, and Muskegon College of Beauty. She married James Barton Coleman on May 11, 1963, at Lakeside Methodist Church in Muskegon.

Diana was employed from the age of fourteen to her retirement in 1996. Places of employment included Christine's Hair Salon, Diana's Hair Salon, and at FMB as Officer/Supervisor of the Bookkeeping Department.

She was a member of Cosmetology Society of Michigan & Lakeside Methodist Church.

Diana loved family gatherings, friends, boat rides on Mona & Ford Lakes, bonfires, bowling, card games, church choir, and she loved her wine.

Survivors include her husband James Barton Coleman; daughters Pamela Jo (Craig) Schindlbeck and Lisa Diane Moon; and grandchildren Anthony L. (Lindsay) Schindlbeck & their daughter Hayleigh, Alicia L. (Aric) Kaufmann and their sons Landon & Brody, Michael Moon, Matthew Moon, Jessica (Moon) Torok & family.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters Darlene Miesch & Gloria Barnes; her brother James Leach; and son-in-law John Moon.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Manistee Elks Lodge #250 – 432 River Street from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Memorials in Diana's name may be directed to Hospice of Michigan or the Fountain Fire Department.
