Dennis H. Lloyd, Age 88 passed away May 12, 2020 in Ludington, Michigan.
He was born on January 17, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Ted & Bessie (Barnett) Lloyd. He was a graduate of Manistee High School. On May 18, 1957 he married the love of his life Edith Wright.
Dennis retired from AKZO Nobel Salt Company in Manistee. After retirement he and Edith spent several winters in Florida. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manistee. An avid hunter, he also enjoyed throwing horse shoes.
Survivors include sons; Denny (Debbie) Howe of Manistee, Daniel Lloyd of Manistee, Samuel (Charlotte) Lloyd of Free Soil, Philip (Vicki) Lloyd of Fountain, daughter; Stella (Jerry) Bakhan of Ludington, several grand and great grandchildren, brother; Harold (Shelda) Lloyd of Manistee, and sisters-in-law; Corrine Lloyd and Markay Lloyd also of Manistee, brother-in-law; Frank (Darlene) Wright of Morley, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his wife; Edith (Wright) Lloyd on December 27, 2018, son; Paul, brothers; Jim & Tom Lloyd, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Lester & Pearl Maurer, Harvey & Mable Aymor, Clifford & Christina Wright, Walter & Beulah Wright, and Ernest and Eva Wright.
Private family graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Free Soil.
