Demarion Mallison's Obituary
DeMarion L. Mallison, age 84 of Thompsonville, died Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
He was born on September 24, 1938, in Thompsonville, Michigan, the son of the late DeMarion & Mary Etta (Nickelson) Mallison. He attended Copemish High School and then served in the United States Navy. He married Donna Ann Porter on June 10, 1961, in Marilla, Michigan.
DeMarion was a building contractor, owning and operating M & M Builders for 40 years, retiring in September of 2004.
He was an avid hunting who also enjoyed golfing, traveling, camping, and restoring antique tractors and cars.
Survivors include his wife; Donna, his son; Jeff, and four grandchildren; Amber, Erik, Shelby, & Marin.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra O'Shea and his siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 4:00 PM at the Copemish American Legion Post #531.
