Deborah Darlene Beaty, Age 60 of Manistee died Friday, September 17, 2021 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

She was born on February 20, 1961 in Vinton County, Ohio the daughter of the late Edward and Violet (Bentley) Smathers. Deborah was a loving mother and doting grandmother. She loved baking with her grandkids and selling her baked goods each year at the local farmer's market. When she wasn't with her grandchildren, she was spoiling her fur babies Jake and Brutus.

She is survived by her husband; Dan Beaty of Manistee, her children; Chris (Tina) Zarek, Jennifer (Scott) Cavazos, and Alan (Samantha) Zarek, and her grandchildren; Sarah & CJ Zarek, Ryan & Joshua Baske, Samaya, Rachel, & Amina Ludwick, and Ethan Zarek. Coming from a family of over 20 siblings she is survived by many, including her twin sister; Patty and sisters Sue & Diane.

Funeral Services for Deborah will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee with Father Zeljko Guberovic officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
