Debbie L. Pete, age 62 of Manistee, passed away on Saturday September 17, 2022, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

She was born on October 28, 1959, in Frankfort, Michigan, the daughter of the late Floyd and Betty (Overla) Lambert. On November 1, 1980, Debbie married Steven Pete at Norwalk Lutheran Church and they shared 39 years together before Steven's passing on June 28, 2020.

She was employed at the Little River Casino from 1999 until 2016.

Debbie enjoyed the little things in life such as thunderstorms and watching and listening to the rain. She also loved gardening and growing flowers and taking rides to look for deer. Spending time with her grandchildren is what she looked forward to the most.

Debbie is survived by her children Jesse (Misty) Pete and Jennifer Pete; grandchildren Noah and Ashlynn Majksak, McKenzie Gruber, Hunter, Carter, Kolt, and Remington Pete, and Abriahna Manicalco; siblings Gloria Peterson, Earl Lambert, Roy (Janet) Lambert, Ron (Kathy) Lambert and Diana (Duane) Mcleod; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Debbie was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law John and Phyllis Pete; siblings Floyd Lambert, Judy Johnson, and Sylvia Sedelmaier; and granddaughter Morgan Pete.
A Celebration of Life for Debbie will be held on Sunday October 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Brown Township Hall, 8233 Coates Highway, Manistee, MI 49660.
