David Curtis Lanning, age 66, of Manistee, Michigan, passed away on December 21, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
David was born on March 29, 1955, in Manistee, the son of the late Glenn Arthur and Mildred Marcille (Adamczak) Lanning.
He found joy in many things in life. David loved his cat, Sox, decorating for the holidays, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid collector of anything Titanic. David also enjoyed decorating cakes and cooking for all his friends and family and since he was a chef, he was always creating some delicious meals.
David will be missed dearly by two brothers, three sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister and two brothers, as well as his aunts and uncles.
A memorial service for David will be held on Saturday January 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manistee with Pastor Miller officiating.
