Obituary

David Michael Bezesky, of Ross Township, OH passed away unexpectedly Saturday February 1st, 2020.

Dave was a beloved husband, father, son, uncle, and friend. He was born November 11th, 1960 to John "Mike" and Shirley Bezesky in Detroit, Michigan. In his youth, he loved playing football, and attended Manistee Catholic School. He often spoke of how taking calculus in high school changed the way he looked at the world and inspired him to become the first in his family to attend college. Fueled by his intellect and persistence to rise above his circumstance, Dave graduated with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Tech University. In his career, he worked as an electrical engineer for Siemens Energy and Automation in Cincinnati, Ohio, and wrote curriculum for Merchant Job Training and Safety in Brookings, South Dakota. Dave enjoyed many hobbies, including golfing, fishing, hunting pheasant, training dogs for hunting and field trials, and making wine. He had hopes of a long, well-deserved retirement and some quality time to spend with the ones he loved.

Dave leaves behind his devoted wife of 31 years, Tracy Bezesky; daughter, Elizabeth Bezesky (age 20); father, John "Mike" Bezesky; mother, Shirley Bezesky; sister, Michelle Wroble; mother-in-law, Dorothy Merchant; and mentor and friend, Kreso Mikulic.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Aser and Margaret Bezesky; uncle Albert and aunt Jackie Walton; uncle Marvin and aunt Donna Taylor; stepmother, Harriett Bradford; brothers, Kenneth and Charles Bezesky; grandmother-in-law, Alvina "Dolly" Hillestad; and father-in-law, Dennis Merchant.
