Danny H. Riggs, Age 71 of Manistee passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City surrounded by his daughters and grandsons.

He was born on May 14, 1952 in Hart, Michigan the son of the late Gerald Riggs and Bernice (Alexander) Tatro. He graduated in 1971 from Shelby High School in Shelby, Michigan.

Danny was employed as a truck driver for twenty-one years by Ron Brown & Sons, retiring in 2017. Danny enjoyed carpentry (Jesus would be proud). He also enjoyed camping, playing pool, golf, and telling "Dad" jokes. You could always find him wearing some wild print shirt & his overalls.

Survivors include his girlfriend; Sheila Kotecki, daughters; Michelle Riggs & DeAnna (Joe) Rakoski, grandsons; Anthony (Marie) Riggs & Dakota Ogletree, his brother; Tim (Sandy) Riggs, his sister; Sue Quick, as well as his nieces and nephews.

He also was preceded in death by his granddaughter; Sydney Riggs.
