Daniel L. Raczkowski, age 87, of Manistee, Michigan passed away on Tuesday February 1, 2022.
He was born on February 18, 1934, in Manistee, the son of the late Joseph and Regina (Kruska) Raczkowski.
Danny proudly served his country in the United State Army during the Korean War from 1954 until he was honorably discharged in 1956.
He married Dolores Adamski on September 30, 1961, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee and they celebrated 60 years of marriage together. He was a member of the Catholic Community, Diving Mercy Parish, of Manistee.
In 1995 he retired from Packaging Corporation of America after 28 years of dedicated employment.
He enjoyed spending his time outdoors which included working in his garden, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores, and his brother Leonard (Judie Shively) Raczkowski of Manistee along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides for his parents, Danny is preceded in death by three brothers Joseph, Gerald "Joe", and Richard Raczkowski, and one sister-in-law Kay Raczkowski.
According to Danny's wishes. Cremation has taken place and a time of friendship will be held at a later date.
