Daniel Scott Fairchild, age 54 from Lachine originally of Bear Lake, Michigan, passed away on November 15, 2023, after a long battle.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Daniel had a great love of fishing, motocross, RC racing, jet skiing and his shop, Full Bore.

He is survived by his 4 children, Ricky Fairchild of Thompsonville, Anna Fairchild of Battle Creek, Robert Fairchild of Alpena and Alex Fairchild of Branson, Missouri; his sister Diana Fairchild of Bear Lake; his mother Peggy VanAelst of Bear Lake; stepbrothers Scott (Sam) VanAelst and Paul (Lori) VanAelst; stepsisters Amy (Ken) Rowland and Kim (Ryan) Terpstra; plus, numerous nieces, nephews and two granddaughters.

Proceeded in death by his father Milton Fairchild, and stepfather Dan VanAelst.

A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
