Clifford Whitaker, Age 77 of Irons died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at his home.
He was born on January 13, 1942 in Ann Arbor, MI the son of the late Willie & Ossie (Risner) Whitaker. He was a graduate of Manchester High School. On November 15, 1966 he married Milla Anita Keeter at Whitmore Lake, Michigan.
Clifford was employed as a job setter by Chrysler for thirty years. He enjoyed hunting, was a die-hard Michigan Fan, and loved Chevy trucks.
Survivors include his wife; Milla A. Whitaker , one daughter; Tonya (Larry) Dekoekkoek of Irons, grandchildren; Josh Dekoekkoek of Irons, Dorothy (Cory) Dykhouse of McBain, Laura (Jason) Melkus of West Branch, & Ann (Rob) Falkenhagen of Gaylord, great grandchildren; Desi, Rebecca, Jayden, Shyanne, Zak, Sabrina, & Bradley, his brother; Clifton (Diana) Whitaker of Scottville, & brother-in-law; John Cox of Hartford, AL.
He was also preceded in death by his sister; Phyllis Cox.
Graveside Services for Clifford Whitaker will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Eden Township Cemetery in Irons with Pastor James Friesner officiating.
Memorials in Clifford's name may be directed to Homeward Bound or the Norman Township Fire Department.
