Cindy Raybon Preuss, age 72, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, in Manistee.
She was born on September 22, 1953, in Florida, the daughter of late Milton Raybon & Alice Nickleson Garcia.
Cindy was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent many years employed at Mitchell Corporation Custom Packing. She also brought warmth and friendship to many while working as a bartender at the VFW and Moose Lodge, where she became a familiar and cherished presence.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Preuss; her sons, James Magmer and Lance (Mary) Magmer; her beloved granddaughter, Aliyha Magmer (Bretten Smith); and her great-grandchild, Leo Smith. She also leaves behind Eliana Magmer, as well as her siblings Eloise Jepsen "Ellie," Milt (Nicole) Raybon of Corunna, and Elizabeth Hughes of Pontiac, and her uncle, Art (Maryanne Nickleson) of Manistee.
Cindy was preceded in death by her sisters Sharon Schubert, Sue Terlunen, and Annie Nelson.
Cindy had a deep love for raising and showing horses, a passion that brought her much joy throughout her life. Her favorite horse, Chip, remains a special part of her legacy. Above all, Cindy's greatest joy in life was raising her granddaughter Aliyha and later becoming a proud great-grandmother to Leo.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
