Charles P. Carroll, of Onekama, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, in Manistee, MI.

He was born to Charles F. Carroll and Mary Jane Skimin on May 28, 1943.

He married Irene Nelson and resided in Muskegon most of his life. He was an Electrical Engineer and retired from Herman Miller before returning to the Manistee area. He loved riding his motorcycle, loved flying his plane, as well as playing with anything that flew!

He is survived by his two sons Darwin (Carla) Carroll & Tom (Deb) Carroll; daughter Sue (Mark) Frutchey; son-in-law Rick Johnson; sister Sharon (Duane) Anderson and brother Eric (Polly) Showalter along with 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles (Vera) Carroll and Mary Jane (Bill) Showalter along with his wife Irene Carroll, daughter Laurie Johnson, stepson Gary Collins and stepdaughter Kathryn Collins.

Per his request there will be a private graveside service with his immediate family in Muskegon, MI at the Norton Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
