Carole Ann Appicelli, age 84 of Manistee died September 11, 2026 at Maple Ridge Manor.

She was born on July 20, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of the late Jonathan E. & Norma (Charron) Lemonnier. She was a graduate of Belding High School and Ferris State Univerisity, as a dental hygienist. On April 20, 1963 she married Keith Appicelli at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Onekama. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2021.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Onekama. She enjoyed boating, playing games of chance, baking, canning, & sewing.

She is survived by her sister; Charron (Doug) Richley, sister-in-law; Karen (Jack) Blahut Lemonnier, daughter; Cathryn Needham, daughter-in-law; Sharon Appicelli, grandsons; Conner & Chase Needham, nephews; Michael J. Lemonnier and Eric (Connie) Diesing, and nieces; Lori (Jay) Dujon and Angela Leigh Caro.

She was also preceded in death by her son Christopher M. Appicelli on April 21, 2021.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph Catholic church in Onekama with Father James Bearss celebrant. Burial will be in Onekama Village Cemetery II. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until time of the Mass.

Memorials in Carole’s name may be directed to Homeward Bound, St. Joseph Church in Onekama, or Hospice of Michigan.
