Carol (Wallace) Picardat, 74, of Free Soil, MI, passed away on Sunday August 8, 2021, at the home of her niece and caregiver, Robyn (Ron) Sanocki of Free Soil.
Carol was born on May 7, 1947, in Manistee, MI, the daughter of the late Alice (John) McCarthy and Francis Wallace.
Carol had attended St. Joe Catholic School and graduated from Manistee Catholic Central in 1965. Carol married John Picardat, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee. They shared many wonderful years before John's passing in April of 2009.
Carol is survived by her sons Jeff (Amy) Gramza and Brian Gramza and her granddaughters Alexis and Katelyn Gramza all of Scottville, MI; her sisters Kay Dahlvig of Manistee and Marilyn Kaminski also of Manistee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, John, Carol is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Harold (Ray) Dahlvig and her great nephew Jacob Barrett of Florida.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Manistee, MI.
