Carol A. Henderson, age 80, of Manistee, Michigan peacefully went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday February 1, 2022.

She was born on December 17, 1941, in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of the late David and Amanda (Siewert) Crosson. She graduated from Pontiac Central High School, class of 1958. She married Jim Henderson and they shared many years together before Jim's passing in 2003.

Carol loved to spend her time gardening, crocheting, canning, and playing pool and euchre. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Carol will be dearly missed by her daughters Alison Booker, Debbie (Jeff) Downing, Becky Beauchamp, and Elena (Erik) Kreiger; grandchildren Charles Smith, Amanda Adair, Joanna (Aaron) Baldridge, Jazmyn Booker, Jacob Booker, and Eshton Kreiger; great-grandchildren Blake Smith, Aiden Adair, Brianna Smith, Haylee Baldridge, Owen Adair, and Lucas Baldridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides for her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her seven siblings, her son-in-law John Booker, and her grandson Hunter Downing.

A visitation for Carol will be held on Saturday February 5, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee.

For those unable to attend the visitation in Manistee, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 26, 2022, at 12:30 PM at Lakes Bible Church, 309 Decker Road, Walled Lake, MI 48390. Family and friends may visit from 11:30 AM until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter in Manistee, Michigan, where Carol adopted her cat, Ebony.
