Carl W. Meduna, age 92, passed away peacefully January 6, 2022, at Munson Manistee Hospital with his loving wife, Donna Mae, at his side.

Carl was born on December 25, 1929, in Manistee, the son of the late Joseph and Stella (Stepka) Meduna. He attended St. Joseph School. Carl married Donna Mae Heuck on December 22, 1962, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Manistee. Together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage.

Carl was employed by the C & O Railroad for 37 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to Old Engine Shows, working in his yard, and hunting.

He is survived his wife, Donna Meduna; his brother, Fred Meduna and his partner Kathy Tibbetts; sister-in-law Marge Heuck and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Florence and Betty, two sisters and their spouses-Frances (Jim) Shelby and Ann (Norbert) Albright, one brother and spouse Joseph (Alice) Meduna; sisters-in-law, Elaine Meduna and Diane Davis; and brothers-in-law, Darwin Heuck and Rollin Davis.

Funeral services for Carl will take place on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffray Green officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Memorials in Carl's name may be directed to Homeward Bound or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
