Calvin Wayne Patton, age 61 of Manistee, passed away on Thursday October 17, 2024, at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.

Calvin was born on August 19, 1963, in Salem, Indiana, the son of the late Reed and Marilyn Patton. On July 27, 2023, he married Cori Stendel in Manistee.

He loved being outdoors: spending time fishing, hunting, camping, enjoying bonfires, and walking on the beach. He loved his cowboy boots and tractors. County music was his go-to with his favorite artists being Travis Tritt, Hank Williams, and Hank Williams Jr.

Calvin left behind his wife, Cori; his three children Jasmine, Derrick, and Desiree; 15 grandchildren; his sister Sharon; two brothers Brent and Roy; and his best-friend and son-in-law Shawn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his common-law wife, Shelia.

No services are going to be held at this time.
