Beverly Mae Volgstadt, age 98 of Manistee, passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2023, at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.

She was born on March 22, 1925, in East Lake, Michigan, the daughter of the late Oscar and Elvera (Engwall) Anderson. Beverly graduated from Manistee High School, Class of 1942. On March 22, 1947 Beverly married Richard Volgstadt and they shared 66 wonderful years together before Richard's passing on March 3, 2014.

Beverly loved to golf and attend horse races. She also enjoyed cocktail time with her family and traveling out west.

She is survived by her sons Rick Volgstadt and Jim (Margie) Volgstadt; son-in-law David Henry; grandchildren Christie (Rob), Kelly, and Emily (Dani); great-grandchildren Michael, Stone, Abi, and Lenox; sister June Labar; brothers Allan (Sue) Anderson and Jack (Carroll) Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Richard, Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy, her sister Margaret, and her brother Doug.

A Celebration of Beverly's Life will be held at a later date.
