Betty Ann Hull, 75, of Arcadia, Michigan, passed away on September 4, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Betty was born on August 28, 1946, in Thompson Station, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Katie (Craft) Mealer. She graduated from Antioch High School in 1964. That same year, Betty also graduated from Flannery and Mays Beauty School in Nashville, TN.
On November 14, 1964, Betty married the love of her life, Wesley Hull, in Nashville, TN and they shared 56 wonderful years together filled with lots of laughter and love.
Betty was self employed at First Lady Beauty Salon for over 50 years before retiring in the spring of this year.
Betty was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church where she served as a lay pastor for the last several years.
Betty loved spending as much time with her family and her friends as she could. She really enjoyed traveling with her special friends, Bob and Katy Tondu and Wayne and Maryann Lowe. She also loved going to Arizona and spending time there with Gary and Sue Peterson.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Wesley; daughter Kimberly (Kirk Urban) Hull of Arcadia, MI; son John Hull of Las Vegas, NV; second son Matthew (Kim) Rife of Kansas City, MO; sisters Dorothy Clark of Las Vegas, NV, and Kathleen Burns of Franklin, TN; sister and brother-in-law Cookie (Phil) Putney of Traverse City, MI; sister-in-law Lois Mealer of Murfreesboro, TN; brother-in-law Doug Hull of Maple City, MI; her honorary grandchildren Karlee Beaver, Greyson and Hudson Galloup, and Cooper Rife; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Betty will be especially missed by her four-legged babies, Solomon, Sheba, Sammy, Teddy, and Eddie.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Tuesday September 14, 2021, at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee from 4:00pm until 5:00pm, where a service will immediately follow. Reverend Jane Logston and Reverend Russell Logston will be officiating the service.
Betty will be laid to rest at Conway Cemetery in Arcadia, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan or Arcadia United Methodist Church.
