Bailey Austin Riley, age 20, of Manistee, MI passed away August 30, 2019 at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital. Bailey was born August 28, 1999 in Muskegon, Michigan to Joseph Patrick Riley II and Wendi Gable. Bailey was a part of the senior class of 2018 and attended Manistee High School where he played football for two years, but his focus and love was in powerlifting and wrestling where he earned his varsity letter, wrestling pin, team districts member, along with earning the admiration from his head coach and his coaching staff. Though sometimes physically outmatched, it didn't matter because his heart was unlike most and he never gave up! Bailey still enjoyed working out and lifting. He wanted to get involved in helping coach wrestling in the near future. Bailey was always the class clown, the joker, and somewhat the ladies man. He had a way of being able to make someone smile and laugh and just knew how to brighten up their day. He never wanted anyone to feel left out. He was the kid that would go talk to you, try to get you involved and feel included.
He had been recently employed by the Little River Casino Resort as a Security Guard. Bailey enjoyed playing the bass guitar, playing video games and spending time with his friends and family. Bailey had a big, loving heart. He was always there to help out others. Bailey had planned on enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, his dream was to make a difference by being there to help others in need. His last wishes were to donate his organs to the Gift of Life, so he could give someone else the opportunity to live theirs.
Bailey is survived by his parents; Joseph Riley II and Wendi Gable, his siblings; McKenzie, Zoey and Courtney, paternal grandparents; Joseph and Donna Riley and paternal grandmother Renee Kendall, uncle Joshua (Holly) Riley and their three daughters; Kiryn, Addison & Tesla, uncle Nathan Riley and his two daughters; Jaycie & Sadie, uncle Robert Miller, maternal grandparents Mark and Laurie Gable, uncle Jeff Gable (Nikki Shatney) and their two daughters; Palmer & Parker as well as numerous great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
