Andrew Wesley VanBeelen, Age 68 of Manistee died Friday, April 23, 2021 at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
He was born on August 25, 1952 in St. Johns, Michigan the son of the late Jackson & Armalee (Gerow) VanBeelen. He was a 1970 Graduate of Lansing Eastern High School and later earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from Central Michigan University. On May 22, 1992 he married Raedine I. VanHeck at the Rose Garden in Lansing, Michigan

Andy was employed as a Corrections Officer by the Sate of Michigan for 22 years. He was a member of Manistee National Golf Club where he most recently was employed. Along with golf he also enjoyed hunting, was an avid bowler, and was former player for the Manistee Saints.
Survivors include his wife; Raedine VanBeelen of Manistee, two children; Christa (Tony) Gutowski of Manistee and Randy Zelinski of Grand Rapids, MI, three grandchildren; Leah Robertson, and Kierra & Alaina Gutowski, one brother; Jackson (Beth) VanBeelen of Lansing, one sister; Mary Curry of Carson City, in-laws; Wanda (Jim) Myers of Fenwick, MI & Joseph (Sue) VanHeck of Sheridan, MI, nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 2-4 PM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee. Private family services will follow
