Albert Earl Brown, age 91 of Onekama died Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Maple Ridge Manor in Manistee.

Albert was born on August 15, 1935 in Onekama Township the son of the late Daniel C. & Anna Marie (Beyers) Brown. He was a graduate of Onekama High School. On August 18, 1956 he married Karla K. Dahlquist at the Swedish Evangelical Church in Manistee. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2025.

He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator by various construction companies. He played an active role in the Village of Onekama serving in the fire department and on the village council for many years. He also enjoyed hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, traveling with Karla, and time with the grandkids.

He is survived by his daughter; Becky (Duane) Milarch, grandchildren; Daryl Milarch, Stacey (Paul) Johnson, & Grace (Jordan) Tyson, great grandchildren; Mason Milarch and Brandon, Julie, & Ryann Johnson, and sisters-in-law; Martha Brown & Maureen Dahlquist.

He was also preceded in death by a grandson Kurt Milarch, a son & daughter-in-law: Randy & Jean Brown, brothers; Don, Fred, & Hank Brown, sisters; Irma Thompson, Vada Olson, & Alice Tessman, and brother-in-law; Daniel Dahlquist.

Private family services are being held.
