Obituary for Charlotte Elliott
Charlotte married the late Orlando Elliott Sr. on March 17, 1950 in Ludington. Together they had five children. Charlotte was a proud homemaker for most hoer her children’s life. She worked for a few years for Gibb’s Country House, and she enjoyed her time there.
Charlotte was an avid Bingo player and she loved taking casino trips with her kids. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Orlando (Christene) Elliott, Carol Duquette, and Georgia (Phil) Zacharda all of Ludington, her 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, and her sister, Rose Marie Phillips.
Besides her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Orlando, two of her daughters, Julia Spalding and Charlotte Elliott, and two brothers, Willie and Delton Phillips.
A funeral will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with visitation one hour prior. Charlotte will be laid to rest next to her husband at Lakeview Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington.
