Jeffrey Paul Peterson, Age 71 of Manistee died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at his home.
He was born on January 2, 1946 in Manistee, the son of the late Leonard P. & Chrystal G. (Hilliard) Peterson. Jeff attended Washington School in Manistee and had been employed at the Manistee News Advocate and Lakeshore Enterprises.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee and had been a member of the Northside Improvement Association (NIA). He enjoyed playing the guitar and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include his brother; Ed (Ruth) Peterson of Manistee, nieces and nephews; Stacy (Leah) Peterson, Tiffany (John) Schneider, Missy (Tom) Amor, Cindy (Stuart) Risch, and Heather (Mike) Chmielewski.
Memorial Services for Jeffrey P. Peterson will be conducted Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee with Pastor Kevin McClain officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service.
